The Outreach Department is dedicated to connecting the broader community with astronomy through engaging, hands-on experiences. We organize and host observation events for both club members and the public, creating accessible opportunities to explore the night sky. Our team collaborates with other subteams and partners with organizations beyond campus to coordinate joint observation events that broaden our impact. In addition, we support and help facilitate astrophotography workshops, offering guidance and resources for participants interested in capturing celestial imagery. Through these initiatives, the Outreach Department strengthens community engagement, promotes scientific curiosity, and expands the reach of our organization.

Highschool Visits
We conduct visits to local high schools! During these visits, we introduce students to foundational astronomy concepts, share insights into our club’s activities, and spark curiosity through hands-on demonstrations or observation sessions when possible.
